Eric Anderson

Director at DataStax

Eric Anderson is the Director at DataStax, a position they have held since 2013. Prior to that, they were with Dell KACE from 2010 to 2013, where they served as Technical Training Development Advisor/Technical Writer. In this role, Eric developed curriculum and assessment for technical training, and created the prototype materials for customer classroom 1-day training and remote online 2-5 day internal training for Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced use of Dell KACE's System Management and System Deployment Appliances, the K1000 and K2000. Eric also created hundreds of certification exam questions to certify internal employees.

Before their time at Dell KACE, Eric was a Math and Science Teacher at the San Jose Unified School District from 2005 to 2010, and an Adult Teacher at the Fremont School for Adults in the Sacramento City Unified School District from 2004 to 2005.

Eric holds a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from UC Berkeley.

Eric Anderson has a B.A. in Chemistry from University of California, Santa Cruz, a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from The University of New Mexico, and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from University of California, Davis. Eric has also been certified as a User-Centered Design Module 1 by the Interaction Design Foundation (IDF), a Certified Cassandra 1.2 Developer by DataStax, a Certified Cassandra 1.1 Developer by DataStax, and a Certified MongoDB Developer by 10gen.
