Jeremy Perlman has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jeremy began their career at Participate Systems in 1999, where they served as a Manager and contributed to research and analysis for marketing programs and new products. After three years, they joined Lexecon as a Consultant, where they continued their analytical work until January 2004. Perlman then joined The Clement Group as an Associate, advising senior management on strategic issues for Fortune 100 and VC-backed technology companies.
In 2008, Perlman became the Head of Business Development EMEA at Ribbit, focusing on managing business development for communication platform APIs and applications. Jeremy facilitated partnerships with carriers and developers, primarily in the EMEA region. Following their time at Ribbit, Perlman joined Apigee in 2011 as a Sales Director EMEA, where they played a significant role in fostering the adoption of Apigee's API platform by global enterprises.
After a year with Apigee, Perlman was promoted to the position of Managing Director EMEA, where they accelerated team and revenue growth across the EMEA market. Jeremy successfully established Apigee's leadership position in the region, exceeding target goals for 10 out of 11 quarters. Apigee was later acquired by Google in 2016.
In 2015, Perlman joined Trifacta as the VP Sales EMEA. Trifacta specializes in data transformation, enabling users to transform raw, complex data into structured formats for analysis. Perlman utilized their expertise in sales to contribute to Trifacta's growth until October 2018. Subsequently, they joined Diffblue as the Chief Revenue Officer, responsible for driving the company's revenue growth until February 2020.
Currently, Perlman serves as the VP WW Field Operations at DataStax, where they contribute to the company's global field operations. With their extensive experience in sales and business development, Perlman continues to make valuable contributions to the organizations they work with.
Jeremy Perlman earned their Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from Denison University from 1995 to 1999. Later on, from 2006 to 2008, they attended The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where they obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Strategy, Marketing, and Finance.
