Modesty S. H. Fontes

Modesty S. H. Fontes has a diverse work experience in various companies. Modesty is currently working at DataStax as the Head of Corporate Risk and Equity Affairs since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked at NASPP as a Mentor for the Women Leading in Equity Program starting in July 2021. Modesty also served as a Board Member and Vice Treasurer at SVC NASPP Chapter from January 2021 onwards.

Before these roles, Modesty held the position of Senior Manager, Equity at BridgeBio from November 2019 to December 2021. Modesty was a Manager, Payroll & Stock Administration at Principia Biopharma from September 2018 to October 2019.

Prior to that, they had roles as Manager, Stock Programs at Cloudera from February 2015 to May 2018, where they also worked as a Stock Administrator through a consulting contract from August 2014 to February 2015.

Modesty S. H. Fontes began their education at San Francisco State University in 2002 and completed their Bachelor's degree in French & Business Administration in 2003. Modesty then pursued their studies in International Business focusing on Western Europe with French & Spanish at San Diego State University. Afterwards, they attended Santa Clara University and achieved Level Two certification in Equity Compensation. Lastly, they obtained an Associate's Degree in General Education from Ohlone College.
