Rodrigo Diez has a diverse work experience spanning various sectors and roles. Rodrigo began their career as a Financial Analyst at Banque Nationale de Paris, Latin American Investment Banking Group in 1997, and then moved to Banco Comafi as a Financial Analyst from 1998 to 1999.

Diez then joined the Universidad Austral, where they worked as a Professor from 2000 to 2006. During this time, they taught subjects like Introduction to Economics, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, and Financial Theory. Rodrigo also conducted consulting work, specifically developing microstructure models in Matlab based on high-frequency data from the Futures and Options Market.

In 2006, Diez transitioned to Deloitte as a Consultant, specializing in Valuation and M&A services. Rodrigo provided financial advisory services to over 100 companies across various industries in different countries in South and Central America.

Diez's next significant role was at Dell EMC, where they held multiple positions. Rodrigo started as a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager for Latin America from 2010 to 2013. Rodrigo then became the Controller for the North Latin America region from 2014 to 2018. Following that, they took on the role of Director of Business Operations, Americas from 2018 to 2020, leading a team of 60+ people and overseeing operational support to Sales across the deal lifecycle. In their final role with Dell EMC, Diez served as a Global Project Manager from September 2020 to May 2021.

Currently, Diez works at DataStax as a Sales Operations professional. Rodrigo joined the company in June 2021 and remains in this role. DataStax is a data management company focused on open-source database Apache Cassandra, catering to enterprises and developers for deploying large amounts of data that powers modern applications.

Rodrigo Diez completed their BA in Business Administration from Universidad Austral, Argentina between the years 1992 and 1996. Rodrigo further pursued their education and obtained an MSc in Economics from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella, Argentina during the years 1998 to 2000.
