Anthony Lui has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Anthony is currently working as a Senior Analytics Engineer at Datatonic since April 2023. Prior to that, they worked as an Analytics Engineer at Maple (getmaple.ca) from October 2022 to February 2023. From May 2021 to June 2022, Anthony served as a Senior Data Analyst at Ritual.co. Before that, they held the role of Senior Data Analyst and Data Analyst at Flashfood from August 2019 to April 2021. Anthony's earlier experience includes positions at IBI Group, where they worked as a Data Analyst and Consultant from November 2016 to July 2019, and as a Traffic Operations and Safety Analyst from May 2013 to July 2015. Anthony also worked as a Structural Co-op Student at WorleyParsons, an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Waterloo, Foundations Engineer Assistant at the Ontario Ministry of Transportation, and Junior Project Manager/Estimator at AMAN Building Corporation.
Anthony Lui has a diverse educational background. Anthony obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo, where they studied from 2008 to 2013. During their time at the University of Waterloo, they also participated in an exchange program at the University of Leeds from 2011 to 2012.
In 2015, Anthony pursued further education and received a Master of Science degree in Transportation with Sustainable Development (DIC) from Imperial College London. Anthony completed this program in 2016.
In addition to their formal education, Anthony has obtained several certifications. In March 2020, they completed the Sumo Logic Fundamentals and Sumo Logic Search Mastery certifications from Sumo Logic. Anthony also obtained the Snowpro Core Certified certification from Snowflake in May 2023.
