Antonio Nieto García

Antonio Nieto García has a diverse range of work experience in the field of data science. Antonio started their career at Physio R&D IVS in 2017, where they developed a web application and an Android application, as well as optimized performance and implemented new features. In 2018, they participated in the Data Science Talent Program at Banco Santander, where they gained experience in understanding and extracting insights from financial data.

In 2019, Antonio joined Hello Auto as a Data Scientist, where they worked on big data and AI initiatives, including an Automated Plate Number Recognition System using computer vision and neural network technologies. Antonio then moved on to Endesa in 2020, joining the Advanced Analytics team as a Data Scientist, where they developed various AI models for energy price and demand forecasting, customer complaints prediction, and more.

Currently, Antonio is working as a Senior Data Scientist at Datatonic, where they have been involved in the entire data projects lifecycle. Antonio leads technical aspects of projects, including scoping, solution development, discussions, decision making, and technical support. Antonio has worked on several interesting projects, such as a recommendation system based on TFRS, a satellite imagery project for solar panel detection, and a demo for conditional image synthesis.

Throughout their career, Antonio has gained proficiency in various technologies and tools, including Python, TensorFlow, Keras, OpenCV, Hidden Markov Model, Survival Analysis, and XGBoost. Antonio'swork experience demonstrates their expertise in data science and their ability to deliver impactful solutions to business challenges.

Antonio Nieto García has a diverse education history. Antonio obtained a MsC in Big Data & Business Intelligence from the Escuela de Organización Industrial in 2018-2019. Prior to that, they pursued a Grado en Ingeniería de las Tecnologías de la Telecomunicación (Degree in Telecommunication Technology Engineering) from the Universidad de Sevilla from 2013 to 2017, specializing in Computer Science. In 2016, Antonio also completed a certification in Cloud Computing Systems Administration from Bitnami.

In addition to their formal education, Antonio has acquired various certifications. Antonio has completed several courses in Python, including Survival Analysis, Customer Analytics and A/B Testing, GARCH models, Introduction to Natural Language Processing, Writing Efficient Python Code, Advanced Deep Learning with Keras, Introduction to TensorFlow 2.0, and Introduction to Deep Learning. Antonio also completed courses in SQL, such as Exploratory Data Analysis and Intermediate SQL. Antonio holds a Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) from Cambridge University Press. Moreover, Antonio has obtained certifications in cloud computing administration from Bitnami and is currently working towards the Professional Data Engineer and Professional Machine Learning Engineer certifications from Google Cloud. However, it is not specified when Antonio obtained the Certificado de Código de Honor de edX for the Introduction to Linux course.
