Sebastian Wolf

Sebastian Wolf has extensive work experience in the field of data science and economics. Sebastian currently holds the position of Principal Data Scientist at Datatonic, a role they started in October 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Data Scientist at the same company from August 2020 to September 2021.

Before joining Datatonic, Sebastian worked at The World Bank as a Data Scientist from May 2019 to August 2020. Sebastian also held the position of Resident Advisor at the Overseas Development Institute from August 2016 to May 2019. Previously, they worked as an Economist at the International Growth Centre from March 2015 to October 2016, and at the Overseas Development Institute as an Economist from August 2013 to March 2015.

Sebastian began their career as a Research Assistant at DIW Berlin in July 2010.

Sebastian Wolf has a strong educational background in the field of economics and data science. In 2008, they started their academic journey by enrolling at Maastricht University, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in International Economic Studies. Sebastian completed their undergraduate studies in 2011.

Sebastian then furthered their education by attending the University of Cambridge from 2011 to 2012. During this period, they obtained a Master's degree (M.Phil) in Economics. Following their time at Cambridge, they pursued an additional academic opportunity as an exchange student at UC Santa Barbara for the 2010-2011 academic year.

In 2018, Sebastian Wolf decided to enhance their knowledge and skills in data science by enrolling at the Barcelona School of Economics. Sebastian completed a Master's degree in Data Science in 2019.

Additionally, Sebastian has obtained several certifications from Google in the field of cloud computing. In 2020, they became a Google Cloud Certified Professional Data Engineer. In 2021, they achieved the certification of Google Cloud Certified Professional Machine Learning Engineer. Furthermore, in 2022, they obtained the Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect certification.
