Ben Waugh

Ben Waugh is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as Chief Information Security Officer and Head of Security, IT & Compliance at Datavant since November 2021. In addition, Ben holds positions as an Investor, Advisor, and Due Diligence specialist at SVCI - Silicon Valley CISO Investments since February 2023. Previously, Ben was the Chief Information Security Officer at Redox, where responsibilities included building and leading security programs for a healthcare application development platform. Ben's earlier roles at Twilio involved significant contributions to security architecture and compliance initiatives, while at Suncorp Group, Ben led cybersecurity efforts and established key security programs across various projects. Ben began a career at IBM as a Software Engineer and holds dual degrees in Engineering and Commerce from The University of Queensland.
