Vanessa A. Folkerts

Vanessa A. Folkerts currently serves as CFO for Life Sciences, Ecosystem, and Public Sector at Datavant, alongside the role of Head of Corporate Development. Prior to this, Vanessa held the position of Head of Business Operations at HealthTap, an enterprise and direct-to-consumer platform specializing in virtual healthcare. Vanessa's earlier experience includes leadership roles at United Family Healthcare, a prominent private healthcare network in China, where responsibilities spanned product management and external partnerships, contributing to significant acquisitions and valuations. Vanessa started a career in clinical research at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Academically, Vanessa holds an MBA from The Wharton School, a BA in History with a minor in East Asian Studies from Princeton University, and a certificate in Public Health from The Johns Hopkins University, along with pursuing a Master's in Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Pennsylvania.
