Andrea Lovato

Andrea Lovato has a diverse and extensive work experience in the energy and water desalination sectors. Andrea is currently working at DataVolt as the Chief Future and Solutions Officer. Prior to that, they worked at Zhero as the Chief Investment Officer. Andrea also has a significant tenure at ACWA Power, where they held various roles including Global Head of Hydrogen and Executive Vice President & Global Head of Renewable Development. At ACWA Power, they were involved in the development, financing, and operation of multi-billion dollar projects focused on producing green hydrogen and other green molecules from renewable resources. Before joining ACWA Power, Andrea worked at Black & Veatch as the General Manager MENA, where they were responsible for business development in the power and desalination divisions. Andrea also had roles at VATECH Wabag and Alfa Laval, where they successfully secured business for desalination and thermal projects.

Andrea Lovato earned a Ph.D. (Doctorate) in Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering from the DTU - Technical University of Denmark from 1993 to 1996. Prior to that, Andrea completed a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering through a joint program with the University of Leeds at Università degli Studi di Padova from 1985 to 1992.
