Piotr Guzik

Piotr Guzik has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Piotr started their career as a Programista aplikacji mobilnych at Agitive in July 2012, where they created mobile applications for Android and developed games using Unity 3D and Vuforia. In July 2013, they joined Pentacomp as a Specjalista IT, where they designed databases, implemented applications for industrial and aviation administration using Spring MVC, and gathered and analyzed client requirements. Piotr then moved on to e-point SA in October 2014, working as a Software Developer, where they contributed to the development of the Active Content CMS platform, coached scrum and kanban, and served as a scrum master. Piotr joined 4finance in September 2015 as a Software Developer, focusing on microservices and monolithic app infrastructure development using technologies such as Docker, Spring Boot, Java 8, Groovy, Spock, and Gradle. Piotr's next role was as a Big Data Engineer at Grupa Allegro in December 2015. Here, they built a clickstream data ingestion platform, worked with Spark Streaming, Hadoop, Scala, Kafka, and Ansible, and introduced Apache Druid as a tool for analytics. Piotr is currently the CEO of Datumo, a position they assumed in September 2017.

Piotr Guzik completed their Master's degree in Information Technology from Warsaw University of Technology from 2014 to 2015. Before that, they obtained an Inżynier (Inż.) degree in Informatyka from the same university, studying from 2010 to 2014. In addition to their formal education, Piotr also obtained certifications as a Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) and Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) from Scrum.org in March 2014.
