Mary Bateman

Mary Bateman currently serves as the Dauphin County Controller, an elected position held since January 2022, responsible for overseeing the fiscal affairs of Dauphin County in compliance with Pennsylvania statutes. Previously, Mary Bateman held various positions within the Upper Dauphin Area School District from April 2006 to January 2022, including Business Manager, Board Secretary, and Director of Business & Operations Services, among others. Earlier experience includes roles at the Dauphin County Office of Tax Assessment and the Dauphin County Tax Claim Bureau. Mary Bateman is pursuing a Master of Business Administration at Lebanon Valley College, having earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from Central Penn College and an Associate's degree in Business Education from HACC. Educational background also includes a high school diploma from Upper Dauphin Area School District.
