Michelle McKeown has over two decades of experience in program management and production within the arts and recreation sectors. Currently serving as Program Manager for Parks and Recreation with the County of Dauphin since August 2011, Michelle previously held the position of Assistant Program Director in the same department. Additionally, Michelle has been a Producer at Walt Straiton Productions since September 1998. Prior roles include Director of Artistic Operations with the Corona Symphony Orchestra, where Michelle was instrumental in concert planning, marketing, and sponsorship development, and Volunteer and Intern Coordinator at the Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts. Early in the career, Michelle worked as Entertainment and Special Events Coordinator at Dutch Wonderland Family Amusement Park. Educationally, Michelle holds a degree in Integrative Arts, specializing in Music and Business from Penn State University, obtained in 2006.

Dauphin County, in the heart of Pennsylvania, is the preferred place to live, work and raise a family. Dauphin County government provides a vast number of programs and services for its 286,000 residents. Management of the county is the responsibility of a three-member Board of County Commissioners, whose members are elected at-large by county voters to serve four-year terms.
