Matthew Negron has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Matthew started their career at Mila International as a Freelance Industrial Designer, where they created press kits, sales presentations, and conducted research on manufacturing opportunities. Matthew then worked at NUMBER:Lab as a Spokesperson and Designer, managing communications, public relations, and handling project budgets. Matthew also served as a Product Design Engineer at DESIRON, leading a team of designers, implementing cost-saving methods, and improving the manufacturing process. Matthew later became an Adjunct Professor at New Jersey Institute of Technology, teaching drafting skills and fabrication techniques. Matthew also held roles at Think Simplicit as a Freelance Designer and Dauphin Americas as a Lead Product Design Engineer, Market Manager & Design Project Manager, and Regional Sales Manager. Currently, they are the President of Dauphin Americas, overseeing daily operations, financial management, and leading a high-performing team. Additionally, Matthew is a Member of Vistage Worldwide, a CEO peer advisory and executive coaching organization, and serves as an Adjunct Professor at Kean University, teaching courses on manufacturing, prototyping design, and sustainability methods.
Matthew Negron has a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial and Product Design and a Master's Degree in Management and Manufacturing Systems Engineering, all obtained from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Matthew also holds a High School Diploma from Seton Hall Preparatory School. In addition to their formal education, Matthew has obtained various certifications including Sales Enablement from HubSpot Academy, Storytelling for Influence from IDEO U, Certified SolidWorks Professional from Dassault Systèmes, LEED Green Associate from the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI), SolidWorks Composer from DesignPoint Solutions, Communication and Information Design from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, and Foundations of Project Management from Coursera | Google.
