Fedil Grogan

Fedil Grogan has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Starting as a Computer Programmer at Texas Data Entry in 1998, they handled various Unix-related tasks and maintained servers. Fedil then moved on to AT&T, where they worked as a Unix System Administrator and Web Tool Developer. During their time at AT&T, they managed monitoring systems and developed web tools using various technologies. Fedil also led efforts in designing a backup solution with fiber SAN.

After leaving AT&T, Grogan worked as a System Administrator at Ackerman McQueen before joining JCPenney as a Software Engineering Manager. At JCPenney, they managed front-end development teams, mentored junior developers, and played a tech lead role for the native iOS and Android apps. Fedil also contributed to architecting the migration from ATG to a responsive e-commerce site.

Grogan then transitioned to Frontier Communications, first as a Solutions Architect and later as Manager of IT Development and Senior IT Architect. At Frontier, they oversaw the technical direction of various projects, including the development of RESTful middleware APIs and the creation of a proactive monitoring solution. Fedil also played a key role in architecting a TV Everywhere website and a native app solution, resulting in substantial cost savings for the company.

Following their tenure at Frontier Communications, Grogan worked as a Principal Architect at JCPenney, where they continued to architect front-end solutions and manage development teams. Finally, they gained experience in the entertainment industry, serving as an Enterprise Solutions Architect at both Main Event and Dave & Buster's Inc. In these roles, they led cross-functional teams, designed middleware APIs, developed internal integration solutions, and drove strategic initiatives.

Throughout their career, Grogan has leveraged a wide range of technologies, including Objective-C, Xcode, PHP, MySQL, ASP.NET, Java Springboot, ReactJS, Azure Cloud Services, MuleSoft, Salesforce, Git, Jira, Confluence, and many others.

Fedil Grogan earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Regis University from 2018 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a BS degree in Computer Science from the University of North Texas from 1996 to 2002. Fedil also graduated from Lake Dallas High School, where they received a High School Diploma in General Studies in the years 1992 to 1996.
