James M. Dion has a diverse education history. Prior to that, they attended Central Catholic High School in Lawrence, MA, graduating in 1977 from their Honors Program.

After completing their undergraduate studies, James pursued further education and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business. During their time at Babson, which lasted from 1988 to 1991, they focused on Finance and Entrepreneurial Studies.
