Cameron Ruatta has a strong background in software engineering and development. Cameron currently serves as the Lead Software Engineer at Dave - Banking For Humans since September 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Credit Karma as the Senior Software Engineer from December 2015 to September 2020, where they were responsible for designing, building, and managing Credit Karma's Authentication and Authorization platforms. Additionally, Cameron held the role of Infrastructure Engineer at Credit Karma from November 2013 to December 2015, where they focused on maintaining the application platform, working with SaltStack, and writing automation software in Python.
Before their time at Credit Karma, Cameron founded DyedBlue in 2012, where they provided Drupal development and hosting services. In this role, they managed servers, performed system administration duties, and handled customer interactions. Prior to that, they worked as a Programmer Analyst at University of California, Irvine Extension from February 2012 to November 2013, where they designed and created custom internal reports and developed the first QA test suite using Selenium, C#, and NUnit. Cameron also served as a Junior System Administrator at the same university from December 2009 to February 2012, providing technical support and performing computer hardware repairs.
Additionally, Cameron has experience in leadership roles, having served as the Vice President of Habitat for Humanity at UC Irvine from September 2011 to June 2012.
Cameron Ruatta obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Informatics from UC Irvine between 2008 and 2013.
