Dan Ury

Dan Ury is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in strategic finance and corporate development. Currently serving as VP, Head of Strategic Finance and Investor Relations at Dave since August 2022, Dan previously held the role of VP, FP&A / Corporate Development at Varo Bank from October 2018 to August 2022. Prior to that, Dan was the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development & Strategy at Bank of the West from July 2015 to October 2018, and held a senior position at BCMS Corporate focusing on middle-market M&A from April 2013 to July 2015. Dan's earlier career included a role as Principal at Equifin Capital Partners, which specialized in middle-market private equity with a focus on financial services. Dan holds an MBA with a double major in Finance and Accounting from The Wharton School and a B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University.
