Lori Baruch, CRCM, CIPP, currently serves as VP and Assistant General Counsel at Dave, leading the product and regulatory legal team since January 2024. Previously, Lori held multiple roles at Oportun from August 2018 to January 2024, including VP of Compliance and Legal and Sr Director of Regulatory Legal. Prior experience includes a tenure at JPMorgan Chase & Co. from August 2006 to August 2018, where Lori advanced from VP Compliance Officer to Executive Director and Assistant General Counsel within Auto Finance. Lori began a career in compliance at Capital One, from 1996 to 2006, serving as Compliance Manager and Compliance Officer. Lori Baruch earned a JD from the University of Richmond School of Law and a BA in Economics from the University of Virginia.
