Edward Scott Smith

Edward Scott Smith currently serves as the Special Projects Program Manager at Davenport Aviation since March 2023. Prior experience includes significant leadership roles within the Virginia Army National Guard from October 2012 to November 2021, such as Chief of Staff, G3, and J3 Director of Operations for Domestic Operations, as well as Commander of the 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team. Additional positions held include Deputy United States Property and Fiscal Officer, G1, BCT XO with the 116th Brigade Combat Team, and Battalion Commander for the 1-116th Battalion. Edward's military education includes a Master of Science in Military Strategic Studies from the United States Army War College and a Bachelor of Science in Management from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
