David Lawrence is Vice President of the Institute for Professional Excellence (IPEx) at Davenport University. IPEx specializes in individual and corporate training, development, and certification programs. He brings over 21 years of experience in assisting businesses to improve their organizational learning efforts to increase profitability. IPEx works with organizations in the areas of business, technology, and healthcare to understand their needs and provide solutions designed to facilitate organizational growth.

Previously, David was the founder and President of Integrated Sales Solutions, a training and consulting firm specializing in sales, business acumen, leadership, and organizational learning.

His areas of expertise include: training and developing leaders, improving sales and profitability, and developing and implementing strategic plans. David served as director of sales with a leading high-tech company in the Midwest. He successfully facilitated sales process improvements in collaboration with companies such as Microsoft, IBM, and Hewlett-Packard.

This experience equips him to help businesses not only improve sales and profit but to also quickly integrate technology-based opportunities to improve performance and profit.

David has held several key leadership positions with the responsibility for customer relationships and driving new business. He developed a comprehensive Educational Selling Center that educated staff in sales and career development. He is often a guest speaker presenting topics regarding sales, business and sales management.

He has given over 350 presentations to businesses in the Financial, Healthcare, Manufacturing and Technology industries. He holds a MS in communications from Grand Valley State University and a BA in organizational leadership from Cornerstone University.
