Jamie Sanger

Born and raised in Colorado as the last of nine kids, Jamie knows what it means to fight for what you want. His most important life lessons came from his father who taught him that "it's the s*&t on the end of the stick" and that "people in hell want ice water." These not-so-subtle learnings have served him well in his 20 years as a recruiter, more than 13 with Daversa Partners. A leading Partner in the firm, Jamie has helped build executive teams for many premier public and private companies including Deliveroo, Peloton Cycle, eBay, Clover Health, Catawiki, Grab, Coupang, Celsius, Emarsys, Casetext, Work Market, Lending Club, GrubHub, Lystable, Blockchain, Farfetch, Doctor on Demand, Select Comfort, Nitro Software, Wonder Workshop and Crowdflower. He has also worked with top venture and private equity firms including TPG, Greenoaks, Accel, Catterton, Softbank, Index, Canvas Fund, Benchmark, Insight, Norwest, Kleiner Perkins and Andreessen Horowitz. When he is not on the phone, Jamie can be found hanging with his wife, two sons and Portuguese Water Dog in Connecticut. He finds he is especially popular when he remembers to bring home cupcakes from Magnolia Bakery in Grand Central.
