Steve Smits

Steve Smits is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various industries, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer for David Austin Roses in the United States and Asia since June 2024. Previously, Steve held key positions including Chief Executive Officer at For Bare Feet, where oversight was given to a leading manufacturer of licensed and novelty socks, and President & Chief Operating Officer at Zebco Brands, managing a global fishing and outdoor products company. Prior to that, Steve contributed significantly at companies such as Keurig Dr Pepper Inc., Globalstar, The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company, and Pure Fishing, demonstrating expertise in sales, marketing, and strategic leadership. Steve began a robust career at Procter & Gamble, holding multiple roles that spanned business development, category management, and sales. Educationally, Steve holds an MBA in Marketing & Finance from The University of Iowa and a BA in American Studies, also from The University of Iowa.
