Mattias Kunz

Mattias Kunz is a highly experienced architect currently serving as a Director at David Chipperfield Architects since July 2005, where previous roles included Associate Director and Associate. Notable projects under Mattias Kunz's leadership include the Anchorage Museum at Rasmusson Center in Alaska, the Menil Collection Master Site Plan in Texas, and the Perm Opera and Ballet Theatre in Russia. Prior to this, Mattias Kunz worked as an Architect at SOFTROOM, contributing to the Virgin Airlines Lounge project at London Heathrow Airport. Mattias Kunz holds a Dipl.-Ing. degree in Architecture from Fachhochschule Biberach and has also studied at California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.
