Sam Strasser

Sam Strasser is an experienced technology leader currently serving as CTO and VP of Product at David Energy since March 2022. Prior to this role, Sam held significant positions at brightwheel as Head of Engineering, where leadership resulted in substantial platform growth and team expansion. Sam also offered consulting services to early-stage ed-tech companies and served as Chief Information Officer at Summit Public Schools, overseeing data strategy and infrastructure. Additional experience includes contributions at Facebook as a Software Engineer and Product Manager, as well as foundational roles in platform architecture and engineering at Summit Public Schools and Junyo. Sam’s career began at Microsoft, and educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Yale University.
