Joe Matthews

Joe Matthews is an accomplished General Manager with extensive experience in the fitness and leisure industry, currently serving at David Lloyd Leisure since September 2021. With a background as the Owner and Director of Oakmont Fitness, Joe successfully developed an educational branch and managed multiple sites, demonstrating strong entrepreneurial and leadership skills. Previous roles at DW Fitness First included General Manager, where Joe achieved substantial sales increases, and Health & Fitness Manager, with a focus on team development and customer satisfaction. Earlier experience includes founding Buff Box Meals and a progressive career at GLL. Joe holds an MBA from the University of Essex.
