Mark McDonnell has a diverse work experience in the design industry. Mark started their career as a Co-ordinator at Arc Worldwide, where they coordinated nationwide experiential marketing campaigns for major UK brands. Mark then worked as an Intern at Imagination, where they gained insight into automotive event and exhibition design. Mark later joined Candy & Candy as a Design Assistant, contributing to the FF&E and dressing stages of luxury residential apartments.
Mark's next role was at Milc Property Stylists, where they initially worked as an Interior Designer and later became the Design Manager. Mark helped expand and develop the Milc brand through their expertise in high-end interior design. In 2017, Mark joined David Phillips as the Head of Design, establishing and leading a new residential design team focused on BTR developments and multi-unit schemes for investors. Mark provided design leadership for the David Phillips Group and its furniture portfolio. Currently, Mark holds the position of Design Director at David Phillips.
Mark McDonnell attended Ravensbourne University London from 2009 to 2012, where they pursued a degree in Interior Design and Environmental Architecture with a focus on Interior Architecture. Prior to this, from 2008 to 2009, they studied at the University of the Arts London, earning an Interior Design Diploma.
