Jules Thomson has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jules began their career as a Production Editor at Colin Baxter Photography in 1996 and continued in this role until 1999. From 2000 to 2001, Jules worked as a Production Editor/Designer at Editions Plume et Pomme. Jules then moved on to Canongate Books Limited, where they served as a Production Manager from 2001 to 2005. Jules then joined Phaidon Press as a Production Controller from 2005 to 2007. In 2007, they joined Abrams, initially as a Production Manager, then moving on to become a Senior Production Manager from 2009 to 2011. Jules'sfinal role at Abrams was Director of Design Management from 2011 to 2013. Since 2013, Jules has been working as the Head of Production at David Zwirner.
Jules Thomson attended the University of Aberdeen from 1992 to 1995 where they obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in English, Art History, and International Relations. Following this, they pursued a postgraduate degree in Publishing and Book Production at the University of Plymouth from 1995 to 1996.
