Jack Francis, Ph.D.

Jack Francis, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Jack currently works at Davidson Technologies Inc. as an AI/ML Tech Lead, overseeing a team working on predictive models for weather forecasts. Prior to that, they were a Senior Data Scientist at KBR Careers - Gov Solutions, where they focused on Natural Language Processing. Jack has also worked at Mississippi State University as a Research Engineer and Undergraduate Research Assistant, specializing in Big Data Analytics and Additive Manufacturing. In addition, they have interned at Nike, Amazon, PepsiCo, Benchmark Electronics, Inc., Teri Littrell C.P.A, and Quail Creek Golf Resort, gaining valuable experience in roles ranging from Engineering to Operations and Accounting.

Jack Francis, Ph.D. completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Industrial Engineering at Mississippi State University from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the same institution from 2017 to 2018. Jack also pursued their undergraduate studies in Industrial Engineering at Mississippi State University from 2013 to 2017.

Additionally, Jack Francis has obtained several certifications. In August 2021, they completed Swarm Innovation Training from Swarm Vision. In November 2021, they became an AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate through Amazon Web Services (AWS). Furthermore, in October 2021, Jack Francis obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification, also from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
