Jon Wells

Jon Wells has over 27 years of experience in various roles related to cybersecurity, design engineering, and information technology. Jon currently works at Davidson Technologies Inc. as a Cyber Security Architect, where they manage a team and designs and implements cybersecurity environments for missile defense and radar systems. Prior to this, they worked at Jacobs Missile Defense Group as a Design Engineering Branch Manager, overseeing the research, design, and deployment of cybersecurity systems for the Missile Defense Agency. Jon also has experience as an Enterprise Lead Design Engineer at Davidson-Technologies, focusing on boundary protection and cybersecurity. Additionally, they have worked as a Senior Security Engineer at Syntegrity Networks and served in multiple roles at NCI Information Systems Inc. and L-3 Communications. Jon's expertise encompasses various areas including cybersecurity, network architecture, system integration, and policy development. Jon has a strong track record of successfully implementing and managing cybersecurity solutions in both classified and unclassified environments.

Jon Wells completed a course at the Carnagie School of Security Engineering in 2011 and obtained a CCNA-SEC Completion Certificate. From 2004 to 2011, they also completed coursework at Skillport, receiving certifications in CEH, CCNP, CCNA, CWNP, CWSP, and MCSE. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the PaloAlto PAN-OS ACE certification from Palo Alto Networks in December 2013 and earned several certifications from Imperva in 2012, including DBS Database Security and Compliance, FAM - File Security and Compliance, Imperva Certified Technology Specialist for WAF and DBS, and WAF - Web Application Firewall. In 2011, Jon Wells obtained a certification from the Software Engineering Institute at Carnegie Mellon University. Most recently, they obtained the Citrix Certified Professional - Networking (CCP - N) certification in October 2020 and holds the CISSP certification from the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC2), which they obtained in November 2008.
