Jeffrey Mahalak has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Jeffrey began their career in 1980 as a United States Marine, serving in various roles within the Communications and Information Systems field. Throughout their time in the Marines, Jeffrey held positions such as Communication Center Chief, Watch Officer, Supervisor, Message Center Chief, and more.
In 1987, Jeffrey transitioned to the Joint Chiefs of Staff, where they managed over 1,000 Address Indicator Groups and Collective Addresses. Jeffrey also represented the Joint Staff on the Call Signs and Communication Publications work group.
From 1990 to 1996, Jeffrey served as the Data Network Chief and Small Computer Systems Specialist within the Marine Corps IT and Network Operations Center. Following this role, they became a Project Officer for the Marine Corps Computers and Telecommunications Activity, where they were responsible for Year 2000 Tracking and Reporting matters.
In 2000, Jeffrey took on the role of G-6 Operations Chief at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, overseeing telecommunications and information systems services. Jeffrey later became the G-6 Division Chief at Marine Corps Base Camp Butler, managing telecommunications systems and data network systems.
From 2010 to 2013, Jeffrey worked at COmputing TechnologieS, Inc., serving as a Course Director, Curriculum Developer, and Subject Matter Expert for the Marine Corps' enlisted Career Course and Leading Marines Distance Education Programs.
Currently, Jeffrey is employed by Davis Defense Group, Inc. as the Course Director, Curriculum Developer, and Subject Matter Expert for the Marine Corps' enlisted professional military education programs. Jeffrey is responsible for developing and maintaining lessons, teaching online seminars, and utilizing learning management systems.
Throughout their career, Jeffrey Mahalak has demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, instruction, and the management of telecommunications and information systems infrastructure.
Jeffrey Mahalak attended the University of Maryland Global Campus from 2004 to 2006, where they studied Information Systems Management. Prior to that, from 1977 to 1980, they were enrolled at Wayne State University, pursuing a degree in Pre-Dentistry.
