John Strong

Regional Chief Instructor at Davis Defense Group

John Strong has over 20 years of work experience in aviation and defense. John began their career in 2000 with the USMC, where they worked in aviation management for 8 years. In 2008, they joined MCAS New River as an Airfield Operations Officer and Airport Manager. Since 2018, John has been working as a Regional Chief Instructor at Davis Defense Group, Inc.

John Strong has a significant educational background in business and aviation management. John started their education journey in 1993 at Park University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration and Management. Following this, they pursued further education at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University from 2007 to 2014. During this period, they earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, as well as a Graduate Certificate in Air Transportation Management. Additionally, they completed a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Management (Aviation) from the same university. More recently, from 2015 to 2017, John enrolled at Walden University, where they obtained a Doctor of Business Administration degree with a specialization in Business Administration Leadership.
