Tim Davis, MAEd, has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Starting in 2002, they served in the United States Marine Corps, where they held the position of Staff Sergeant. During their time in the military, they gained extensive experience in communication, instruction, and leadership, and completed nine deployments with increasing levels of responsibility as an Infantryman.

In 2017, Tim transitioned to the education sector and joined Onslow County Schools as a Teacher Assistant. In this role, they served as a long-term substitute teacher for middle school students, implementing lesson plans, monitoring student progress, grading exams/activities, and creating a positive learning environment. Tim also took on additional responsibilities as the In-School Suspension Supervisor, ensuring students' adherence to school rules.

In 2018, Tim joined Davis Defense Group, Inc., where they held multiple roles. Initially, they served as the Operations Chief for the Enlisted College Distance Education Program, supporting day-to-day operations and handling administrative functions such as student enrollment and placement, creating purchase orders, maintaining data in Learning Management Systems (LMS), managing adjunct faculty records, and coordinating course materials. Tim later transitioned to the role of Faculty at Enlisted College/Marine Corps University, where they facilitated weekly lesson plans for a 15-week resident Professional Military Education course. Their teaching topics included ethics, leadership, mentoring, writing, professional communication, warfighting, and critical thinking. Additionally, they assisted in the professional development of junior Adjunct Faculty. Tim also took on the role of Regional Chief Instructor, leading and administering the Enlisted College Distance Education Program in North and South Carolina. Tim worked closely with senior leaders to implement strategies and initiatives to drive curriculum quality and student success improvement. Tim was responsible for curriculum development and optimization, identifying gaps, maximizing materials utilization, and aligning curriculum with university requirements.

Tim's most recent work experience is with the U.S. Naval Community College, where they serve as an Adjunct Professor starting in 2022.

Tim Davis, MAEd, has an extensive education history. Tim obtained their Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in General Studies from American Military University in 2015. Tim then pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, graduating in 2018. Tim continued their education at East Carolina University, where they earned a Master of Arts in Education (MAEd) in Adult Education in 2021.

Tim is currently enrolled at Liberty University, where they are pursuing a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree with a focus on Higher Education/Higher Education Administration. Tim is expected to complete this degree in 2024.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Tim has received a certification in Conflicts of Interest from the CITI Program, a division of BRANY, in January 2021.
