Carol Nelson is a founding member of Dyslexie France since 2007, where the organization focuses on providing remediation programs for learning disorders for both children and adults, as well as awareness training within corporate settings. Carol has been a Davis Practitioner for the Davis Dyslexia Association International since 2000, specializing in cognitive development and personal growth for individuals facing various learning challenges, including dyslexia and autism. Previously, Carol taught English as a foreign language at Telelangue from 1994 to 2000 and served as an English course coordinator at AFCIL from 1995 to 1997. Educational background includes studies at the University of California, Davis.

DDAI is based in the United States and oversees training and licensing of Davis® providers worldwide. The goals of DDAI are to increase worldwide awareness of the perceptual gifts, talents or potentials for genius that accompany and give rise to dyslexia; and effective methods for resolving the learning disability aspects of dyslexia. DDAI has affiliate organizations headquartered in Mexico, Germany, the Netherlands, New Zealand, and the UK. There are licensed Davis Facilitators in more than 40 nations, providing services in more than 30 languages.
