Chad S. is a Solar Project Developer at Davis Hill Development, where responsibilities include engaging with landowners and negotiating site control for over 100MW of solar and battery energy storage projects in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. Previously, Chad served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Texas A&M University, focusing on spatial analysis to evaluate vulnerability and COVID-19 outcomes in Houston. Chad also interned with Pattern Energy Group, contributing to wind farm operational practices and environmental research, and worked as a student in land reclamation at the Texas Municipal Power Agency, gaining experience in wildlife management and environmental compliance. Additional experience includes a research internship at the Hazard Reduction & Recovery Center and early employment at SONIC Drive-In. Chad holds a Master's degree in Urban Planning and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Geoscience from Texas A&M University, along with an Associate degree from Texas Bioscience Institute.
