Luke McDougall

Luke McDougall is a seasoned finance lawyer with extensive experience in leveraged finance, restructuring, and corporate lending. Currently a Partner at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP since May 2024, Luke previously held the same position at Paul Hastings from June 2015 to May 2024, focusing on matters for banks and alternative asset managers in London. Prior to that, Luke was a Partner at Ashurst from September 2006 to May 2015, specializing in similar finance issues. Early in the career, Luke worked as an Associate at Minter Ellison in Sydney, handling a range of finance matters. Luke holds a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (hons) from the University of Sydney, earned between 1998 and 2002.
