Eric Weinhandl

Eric Weinhandl has over 19 years of work experience in the healthcare industry. Eric is currently the Vice President of Epidemiology at DaVita Clinical Research since August 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President of Applied Data and Strategy Transformation at Satellite Healthcare / WellBound from September 2022 to July 2023. Eric also worked as the Senior Director of Data Analytics and Home Therapies at the same company from December 2021 to August 2022. Before joining Satellite Healthcare / WellBound, Eric was the Director of Home Dialysis Research at Chronic Disease Research Group (CDRG) from May 2020 to November 2021. Eric also held the position of Senior Director of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Fresenius Medical Care North America from March 2019 to April 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Clinical Epidemiologist and Biostatistician at NxStage Medical, Inc. from June 2015 to February 2019, and as a Biostatistician at Chronic Disease Research Group (CDRG) from April 2004 to May 2015.

Eric Weinhandl completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from St. Olaf College in 2002. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Biostatistics from the University of Minnesota, which was completed in 2004. Eric furthered their studies at the University of Minnesota, obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Epidemiology in 2015.
