Katherine Wetzel

Katherine Wetzel is an accomplished communications executive with extensive experience in leading strategic communications across various industries. Currently serving as Group Vice President at DaVita Kidney Care since March 2021, Katherine has been instrumental in developing and implementing communications strategies for diverse audiences. Previous roles include Vice President and Head of Communications at Aetna, where Katherine managed a significant communications strategy for a $70 billion business unit and was an active member of the Executive Management Committee. Katherine's experience extends to notable positions at Porter Novelli as EVP and Global Director of Client Relations, as well as early career roles at Stanton Communications. Katherine holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and English from Purdue University and additional education from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
