Dale Bethwaite

Dale Bethwaite has a strong background in mechanical engineering with experience in various companies. Dale is currently working at Dawn Aerospace as a Spacecraft Mechanical Engineer and CAD/PDM Administrator. Prior to that, they worked at ArcActive as a Mechanical Engineer, where they were responsible for designing, constructing, testing, and operating prototype production equipment. Dale also undertook a significant redesign of the casting machine/process. Before ArcActive, Dale worked at Caliber Design as a Design Engineer, where they worked on sheet metal manufacturing projects, project management, and upgrades. Dale also worked at Cavotec Moormaster as a Mechanical Engineer, focusing on design and engineering for automated mooring machines. Dale'searliest experience was at Fabrum Solutions, where they gained project management skills in prototype machine construction and design work.

Dale Bethwaite completed their education at the University of Canterbury from the year 2010 to 2013. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering with First Class Honours, focusing on Mechanical Engineering. Prior to attending university, Dale studied at Cashmere High School until 2009. There, they achieved NCEA Level 3 with Excellence and received the Fraser Tonkin Scholarship in Mathematics/Science.
