Kapeel Samarawickrama

Kapeel Samarawickrama has a diverse range of work experience, starting with an internship at Dawn Aerospace in 2018. This was followed by a role as a Teaching Assistant at Delft University of Technology from 2017 to 2018. Prior to that, Samarawickrama worked with the Hybrid Propulsion Team and on the Project Stratos II at Delft Aerospace Rocket Engineering from 2012 to 2016. In 2009, Samarawickrama worked as a Training Engineer at Unilever for a brief period. Currently, Samarawickrama is a Project Manager at Dawn Aerospace, a position held since January 2023, and has also held another role at the same company since April 2019.

Kapeel Samarawickrama pursued their education in a systematic manner. Kapeel completed their Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering from Delft University of Technology between 2011 and 2015. Building upon their undergraduate degree, they then pursued a Master's degree in Spaceflight Engineering at the same university from 2016 to 2018. Before attending university, Kapeel completed their GCE Advance Level education at Stafford International School, Colombo from 1997 to 2009.
