Khaki Rodway has a diverse range of work experience in the aerospace industry. In 2001, they worked as a Historic Preservation Lab Manager at Columbia University. They then joined XCOR Aerospace in 2005, starting as a Program Manager/Technical Writer and later becoming the Director of Payload Sales and Operations. From 2015 to 2017, Khaki worked as a Business Development Specialist at Masten Space Systems, and in 2015, they were an Independent Contractor at NanoRacks LLC. In 2017, Khaki founded Future Launch Consulting, where they served as the Director, specializing in business development and content marketing for startups. In 2019, Khaki took on the role of Director of Business Development at Bradford Space and also joined For All Moonkind, Inc. as a member of the Archaeology, Science, and Heritage Council. They later joined Dawn Aerospace in 2022 as the Spaceplane Sales & Operations Director for the USA. Khaki's experience also includes being a Co-Founder of NewSpace NYC.

Khaki Rodway has an extensive education history. Khaki attended Stanford University from 2017 to 2019, where they pursued a Certificate Program in Novel Writing. Prior to that, they earned their M.S. degree in Historic Preservation from Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning & Preservation between the years 1994 and 1996. Khaki began their academic journey at Rutgers University from 1981 to 1985, where they obtained their B.A. degree. During their time at Rutgers, they studied Women's Studies, English Literature, and Journalism.
