Larissa Vivian Naegele

Larissa Vivian Naegele is a skilled product designer with experience in UX research. Larissa Vivian'smost recent role was at Dawn Health, where they worked as a Senior Product Designer and UX Researcher. Prior to this, they held a position as a Product Designer and UX Researcher at the same company.

Before joining Dawn Health, Larissa worked as a Concept & Design Lead at LEGO Education. In this role, they oversaw all aspects of product concepts, focusing on creating experiences and activities for children from ages 5-13. Larissa Vivian also worked as a Freelance Concept Designer - Front End Innovation for LEGO Education.

Larissa also has experience working at SwiftMotion, where they were a part-time freelance industrial designer. Larissa Vivian helped in conceptualizing, building, sewing, and prototyping wearable prototypes for the startup's product.

Additionally, Larissa worked at Coloplast as part of their Master's thesis on UX research and participatory design fictions. Larissa Vivian collaborated with Coloplast's Design and Insights team and published and presented their research at a conference. Larissa Vivian'sthesis focused on creating a methodology called PDFi, which addressed the issue of marginalized users in user-centered design processes.

Larissa's other experiences include working as a part-time instructor and graduate assistant instructor at the University of Southern Denmark, an industrial designer at Oreganic Design LLC, and participating in the NASA X-Hab Challenge at NASA - Johnson Space Center. Larissa Vivian also worked as a shoe design intern and freelance designer at The Children's Place and participated in a furniture design program at DIS - Study Abroad. Larissa Vivian interned as a Sustainable Strategies Lab Intern at the Brooklyn Fashion + Design Accelerator.

Larissa Vivian Naegele attended Pratt Institute from 2012 to 2016, where they received a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design with a minor in Sustainability. Larissa Vivian then pursued a Master's degree in I.T. Product Design at Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark, from 2016 to 2018. During their time at Syddansk Universitet, Larissa obtained three identical Master's degrees in I.T. Product Design.

Additionally, Larissa obtained various certifications throughout their career. In January 2021, they received a certificate in Project Management for Designers from LinkedIn. In May 2021, they obtained a certificate in Figma for UX Design, followed by a UX Foundations: Interaction Design certificate in June 2021. In August 2021, Larissa acquired a certificate in Empathy in UX Design, and in July 2022, they received a Usability Engineering Certificate IEC 62366-1 from Medical Device HQ. Larissa Vivian'smost recent certifications include an Cognitive behavioral therapy practitioner certification from Udemy in March 2023, and a Behavioral Health Economics Bootcamp Certificate from Irrational Labs, also obtained in March 2023.
