Nina Svanström has a diverse range of work experience. Nina currently works as a Senior UX Designer at Dawn Health, a role they started in March 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Flow Robotics A/S from 2018 to 2022, first as a UX Designer and later as a Communications Assistant & Designer. At Flow Robotics, Nina focused on designing user experiences for the company's robot, flowbot ONE, and contributed to both UX design and brand/web design for the company.
Before joining Flow Robotics, Nina had a role as a Graphic Designer at Opgang2, where they managed the graphic design and creative setup for the theater and arts group's Instagram account from October 2016 to December 2019. In 2018, they also worked as an Assistant Lecturer at the IT University of Copenhagen.
During their master's studies at the IT University of Copenhagen, Nina worked as a Master Thesis Student at YOKE ApS from January to September 2018, contributing to the research through design project, DemensX. Nina collaborated with a wide range of professionals to create meaningful design solutions for people with dementia living in care homes.
Nina also gained teaching experience at the IT University of Copenhagen. Nina worked as a Teaching Assistant in Interaction Design for 1st-year master students from August 2017 to January 2018, and as a Tutor in May to August 2017. Additionally, they served as a Teaching Assistant in Locative Media for 2nd-year bachelor students from February to June 2017.
Nina'sother work experiences include being employed as Event Staff at the Culture Night at the IT University of Copenhagen in October 2016, and as a Design Intern at Atelier Hotel Pro Forma from January to May 2015. Nina also worked as a Sales Assistant at the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art from November 2013 to February 2015, and participated in the European design workshop 'Meeting of Design Students' in Lisbon in July and August 2013, where they collaborated in cross-disciplinary design groups.
Nina Svanström completed the Course in Designing for an Ageing Population at the Royal College of Art in 2022. Prior to that, they attained a Master's degree in Digital Design and Communication from IT-Universitetet i København from 2016 to 2018. Nina'searlier education includes a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Architecture from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts - Schools of Architecture, Design and Conservation (KADK), which they obtained from 2012 to 2015.
