Dawson College
Andrew Katz is a dedicated educator with extensive experience teaching English and Creative Writing at Dawson College in Montreal since August 2006, catering to a diverse student age group. In addition to teaching, Katz facilitates an interdisciplinary project. As a self-employed writer since September 2017, Katz co-authored the picture book "How To Catch A Bear Who Loves To Read," which was published in November 2018 and received recognition, particularly for the French version, which was nominated for the 2020 Forest of Reading's Prix Peuplier. Katz holds a Master of Arts in English and Creative Writing from Concordia University and a Doctor of Medicine from McGill University.
