Matthew McIver

Matthew McIver is a seasoned professional in the field of 3D modeling and animation, currently serving as a Professor at Dawson College since February 2008, where expertise encompasses teaching Virtual Worlds, Prop Modelling, Character Modelling, and Animation Production Pipeline. Contributions include the development of 3D animated short film pipelines and courseware for 3DS Max. In early 2024, McIver taught Character Modeling at Collège LaSalle, emphasizing practical skills in character design. As a co-founder of the IDA Conference and organizer of the MTL Elite Conference, McIver has fostered community engagement within the art and design sectors.
