Nick Ladd

Nick Ladd is an experienced artist and educator with a strong background in animation and illustration. Currently serving as an Illustration Instructor at Dawson College since March 2024, Nick teaches first-year illustration techniques. As a VR Artist for Nick Ladd Art & Animation since March 2018, Nick has worked on various 3D projects for prominent clients such as Nickelodeon, TED Talks, and the NFB. Prior roles include Animator at Studio Syro, where Nick contributed to the "Tales from Soda Island" VR series, and Lead Quill Artist at Baobab Studios, involved in the Sundance-premiered "Namoo." With a Diploma of College Studies in 3D Animation & CGI from Dawson College and prior studies in Illustration and Design, Nick possesses a comprehensive skill set in visual storytelling across multiple platforms.
