Dr. Jenna Bearden Carpenter (She/Her)

Jenna Bearden Carpenter has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Jenna has worked in healthcare, information technology, and education.

After working in pharmaceuticals for over a decade, Carpenter transitioned to Northeast Georgia Health System in 2009, starting as a Surgical Coordinator before becoming an IT Support Specialist in 2011. From 2012 to 2016, she worked as a Physician Outreach Coordinator, serving as a liaison between Physicians and IT.

Since 2016, Carpenter has been with Dawson County Schools, starting as the Executive Assistant to the Superintendent for a year before taking on various roles in the Human Resources department. Jenna worked as the Human Resources Executive Assistant and Title IX Coordinator until 2022, when they were promoted to Human Resources Coordinator and Title IX Coordinator. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Human Resources and Title IX Coordinator.

Jenna Bearden Carpenter's education history begins in 2003 when she attended the University of North Georgia. In 2006, she enrolled at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke and completed a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Management in 2008. Following this, Jenna pursued a Master of Science degree in Management and Leadership at Western Governors University, which she completed in 2018. Jenna then studied at Bellevue University, where she completed a Doctorate in Business Administration in August 2025.
