John Leonard

John Leonard has over 40 years of experience in the geophysical industry, with a current role as Seismic QC and GSR Geomerge operator at Dawson Geophysical since January 2005. Prior experience includes positions as Marine and Land Observer and HSE Advisor at Western Geophysical/Western Geco/Schlumberger, where responsibilities included the operation of the LRS-16 marine seismic acquisition system. Earlier work as an Instrument Engineer at Geophysical Service, Inc. involved maintenance of the DFS V/Ft-1 recording system, and a contract position in Australia as a Land Observer. John Leonard's career began at Seisdata Services, Inc., where the journey transitioned from explosives shooter to Senior Land Observer. John Leonard holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the University of West Florida.
