Adam Winterton has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Adam started their career at Bartlett Advertising, where they held various roles including Studio Junior, Designer, Studio Manager, and Marketing Manager. Adam then moved on to Bartlett Merton, where they worked as an Account Director and later as a Group Account Director. Adam then joined Bartlett Scott Edgar as a Client Service Director.
In 2005, Adam joined TMP Worldwide as the General Manager, where they managed a team of 150 employees and was responsible for business and cultural integration, P&L management, client relationship development, and new business acquisition. Adam successfully retained key clients, exceeded revenue targets, and won new business for the company. Adam then became the Managing Director at Euro RSCG Riley from 2007 to 2010.
Adam later formed their own company, Winterton Interim Limited, where they worked as a Consultant for a brief period. Adam then joined The Cornelius Arts Foundation as an Advisory Committee Member, contributing to research and development focused on bridging art and people.
In 2015, Adam became a Consultant at Sparkling Blue Ltd, a unique European partnership specializing in making innovation sparkle in large organizations. Adam also joined Dawson Walker Communications, first as the Business Development Director and later as the Client Services Director. In these roles, they leveraged their extensive experience to work with global and local brands, deliver impactful solutions, and build a network of trusted partners.

Adam Winterton completed their education at Salisbury College of Art from 1985 to 1989, where they earned an HND in Graphic Design. Prior to that, they attended King Edward's School Bath from 1976 to 1985. It is unclear if they pursued a specific degree or field of study during their time at King Edward's School Bath between 1976 and 1983.
