Lissette Garcia

Lissette Garcia is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in child care and community engagement. Currently serving as a Consultant for the Day Care Council of New York Inc., Lissette develops reports, conducts outreach, and provides technical assistance to childcare programs while ensuring compliance with grants. Previous roles include Program Manager of Community Engagement at Trinity Church Wall Street and Project Manager for Family Child Care Support at the NYC Department of Education, where Lissette managed various initiatives to enhance family child care networks and implemented emergency and health policies during the COVID-19 pandemic. Lissette’s background also includes community relations at the NYC Administration for Children's Services, teaching at the Palmdale School District, and multiple internships focused on educational and political outreach. Lissette holds a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from UCLA.
